Went to this new vet for s Halloween event. I met the vet and spent a good amount of time talking with her. I liked her answers and she was nice and knowledgeable. I would just like to share my experience with you for a moment. Everyone always seems to take the time to write reviews when they have a negative experience and in turn totally bash a business and its employees. Rarely do people take the time out of their day to offer some praise for a job well done. Well... this is a positive review because good people and good businesses deserve recognition. I came into the animal hospital with my senior dog Pierogi, who was having some issues. I was freaking out of course and worried about my baby. One of the veterinary technicians, Brandy I believe her name is; took us back to a room within moments of arriving. She was so sweet to my little Pierogi and calmed me down tremendously. I am guessing she passed on how anxious and concerned I was with the doctor because once Dr. Long came in to the room in her calm manner and began the examination, she quickly identified the problem, ran a couple tests, backed up her hypothesis with test results within the hour, and was able to explain our options to us in layman's terms. Which I so gratefully appreciative. They came up with several treatment plans and was very up front and honest when it came to the procedure, medications, and the costs. Her professionalism put me at ease and made the whole situation comfortable in knowing I was not going through it alone. Within that week they scheduled Pierogies procedure. Which I was worried about because of his age, but Dr. Long reassured me that she takes every step possible with her surgeries and espcially with senior dogs. Needless to say she did and he did great recovering. Big Thank You to Dr Long and staff for everything!                          Candi Joosten

I would like to say a big thank you to Dr. Long and all of the staff at happy life for their wonderful care of my dog. She was patient and kind with my anxious baby and she took the time with both of us. I felt she was very thorough examining and answered any queations i had. Dr Long is a very caring doctor and puts the animals first. We had a rescue dog who needed stitches and it was 15 minutes until they were due to close on a Saturday. Dr Long did not hesitate in telling us to just bring him in and she took excellent care of our boy!              Debi Root

 

 

 

Two people I saw had big doggies that they had a bad experience from other vets.  i am not surprised the other vets here do not show compassion and their charges are outrageous.  Yours are fair.  You remind me of my old vet.  He use to have people waiting around the corner just bc he kept his prices fair.  I wish you the best. This is a new vet who took over the old place. The staff and vet are caring and listen and are gentle with your animal baby. They are also reasonable. Showed great concern for my mom's dog who is a hard customer. Would highly recommend this vet in this area. I have friends with many bad experiences with others in the area. Dr. Long is seriously the most professional, kind, caring and honest vet I have ever met. She has supported me and my animals through crisis a number of times and there is NO other place I would take my animals. I feel comfortable and safe at Happy Life. There is no BS... Had our 1st visit today, was quite happy with it. The staff is very pleasant, Brandi was SO good with my very nervous dog. I like the quiet atmosphere. Dr.Long was very personable + good with my dog,she took the time to address any issues I had...she wasn't pushy at all in telling me what vaccines my dog HAD to have, I was asked, and suggestions were made.
